The Seven Oaks by election result has evoked a response from The Times.
In his article, Chris Smyth makes two references to Paul Goldings expulsion from the BNP in relation to an alleged attack on “part Turkish” Councillor Lawrence Rustem but quotes Lawrence as saying that “it was just a little argument” between them.
Mention is also made of one of Stephen Lawrence’s chums getting elected in Lewisham and an electoral round up of recent BNP electoral results follows.
All in all, this is a fair article and successes like these show just how hard working and dedicated the majority of you activists and councillors who have remained in the BNP really are. However, your efforts are continually insulted as all your glory is given to Nick Griffin’s ‘modernisation’ of the BNP and under his leadership, most of you don’t even get a vote or a say at the annual conference. Don’t give us that pious “so long as it benefits the cause” rhetoric, You deserve better than this!
